Streaming is the single biggest disruption that could come to the way apps work today. Google’s app streaming is about to push the limits with everything-as-an-app. Do you have Apps on your phone that you used once and never again used? Well, I have lots, and guess what, Google is solving this with it’s App streaming concept.

The problem with apps as they work today is that they’re fairly binary in nature, meaning you install them to use them. Their functionality is available when you open them (including in-app search). In their absence the service or the capability they provide is absent.

With App streaming comes the need for App developers to form syndicate relationships in order to be part of a digitalized service offering. This will mean dynamic App calls based on context and use -cases, which means the need to install Apps could potentially become old-school.
